Clicking the link below will give you access to a KML file that works in Google Earth (if installed on your computer) to give you an interactive map showing distress and fatality incidents from July 1982 till April 2010.
Red pins are fatalities, Yellow are distress.
Once Google Earth is loaded, click on title of file in the Places panel (Distress and Fatalities ...) for further details on how less than two hundred distress incidents were chosen out of over 5,000 calls.
